I am a stroke survivor due to having brain surgery caused by the swelling of my brain. I woke up at 6:00am 100% paralyzed on my right side on April 24, 2009. I managed to get everything that I lost back even through it was very, very hard work. After all, my husband and I had just sent our wedding invitations! And I wasn't about to cancel our wedding! After four long hard months of physical, occupational, and speech therapies, I managed to walk done the aisle.
