I suffered a massive stroke at the early age of 39. The only symptom that I had was a headache for three days prior to my stroke. I did not smoke, did not have high blood pressure, did not take birth control pills and was not a diabetic. A stroke can happen to anyone at any age. I thought that I was in perfect health, but in an instant, I was paralyzed on the entire left side of my body. The doctors only gave me a 25% chance to live, and that was almost seven years ago!
