Survivor

June 2009 changed my life forever. I was in the hospital for five and a half weeks due to a stroke at the age of 32, turning 33 while laying in a hospital bed. I had to learn how to walk, write, think, and talk all over again. I vowed to myself, and my family, that I would get out of the hospital and make a difference in myself and for other survivors for awareness. I am now a Stroke Advocate, and have big ideas and plans for the future to help stroke survivors within the next five to seven years.
