Memory
Survivor
At the age of 32, I was diagnosed with a 6 1/2 inch superior saginal sinus thrombosis in my brain. When they retavased it, I had three hemorrhagic strokes. I was in a coma for two weeks. At first, my family was told my chances of survival were slim, but I pulled through. When I awoke, I was paralyzed in all four extremities. Prior to my strokes, I was a married mother of a three-year-old, and a nurse. I was told that I would never walk again. Today, after a miracle, I do walk. There have been quite a few of changes in my life since then. My goal is to help others who are in this situation lead a happy, and fulfilling life.
