Joyce R. ![]() Healthcare Professional I have always been passionate about getting the word out about stroke awareness and prevention. As a Black American, I am doing everything I can to lower my risk of having a stroke, especially since both my grandparents died as a result of strokes. I will be teaching several classes on stroke awareness and prevention at the community college in a couple of weeks, and hopefully again in the spring. There is unfortunately still a lot of work that needs to be done. »Learn more: Uncontrollable Risk Factors |
