I developed a stroke center in a small county in Florida. I have dedicated my time to educating all of the heathcare providers and community members, and making them "stroke smart." I reach out to the community by giving lectures to educate them about the signs and symptoms of stroke. I believe that I am doing a great justice in the county I live in. The stroke center I started is the only stroke certified center in my community and county. I am also the only neurologist in the area, but I still make myself available to the community members everyday.
