My husband had a hemorrhagic stroke from a giant aneurysm rupture in December 2007. I myself had an aneurysm clipped in December 2000. It has been three years in recovery for my husband. Our whole life changed. His short term memory is quite bad, but it is amazing the trivia he remembers! He has a very difficult time motivating or initiating any sort of activity by himself. He doesn't like being at home all of the time and gets quite bored.

He has overcome so many obstacles, when no one thought he would even survive the rupture.  It is truly miraculous.
