Fight for 7

Jamie was a healthy 12-year-old female ice hockey player when she suffered a stroke on the ice.

Jamie has been trying to get back to the ice ever since she had a stroke at age 12. She is an inspiration to others in our town. Twelve kids suffered strokes in a two-year period in Jamie's hometown of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Everyone needs to learn more about pediatric stroke to help others. Jamie hopes to help others become aware of stroke by talking about her experience.

Read more about Jamie's recovery on Fight for 7.
