Brain Under Construction

I have had four strokes, three in November 2010 and one in January 2011. My life has been full of struggles and positive modifications since... but I am thankful for all of it. I am learning to relive my life since my stroke. I was orginally turned upside down and felling sorry for myself. But, my supportive family, awesome therapists and medical staff have my body, life and spirits up and running again!

I have had to re-learn to read and write again, which was very difficult. Yet my 4-year-old is now reading like a champ. I am now speaking pretty fluent due to my my speech therapist and can use my right hand at 75 percent. I am glad to have a good sense of humor so I can laugh at myself while regaining myself. I am learning about my medications, eating healthy and learning to rest, I can not be a super woman anymore! My children have helped me grow and they are learning more about chores. I know I can be in a worse situation and I am thankful everyday I am here!
