Healthcare Professional
| In her role as a Senior Clinical Specialist for Genentech, Renee Glass is very passionate about helping stroke patients, educating hospitals and spreading the awareness of stroke signs and symptoms. She worked very persistently to partner with National Stroke Association to raise stroke awareness at the Colorado Rockies baseball game on May 15, 2011, called Strike Out Stroke. For 9 months, Renee worked diligently with her marketing colleagues, Colorado stroke coordinators and National Stroke Association staff to propose the Strike Out Stroke event, plan all the logistics and implement the program successfully. |
 |
At the baseball game approximately 30,000 fans had the opportunity to learn about stroke and the FAST message. With her passion to raise the level of awareness and help stroke patients, Renee is a role model to her colleagues and very much deserves to be a Face of Stroke.
