My Beautiful Mom

Know the signs so you can get help so you don't end up worse off then before

My Mom was only 40 when she had her stroke and we didn't see it coming. She was healthy and normal. Then one night she felt different but didn't think anything of it. The next morning I found my Mom in her room and I knew something was wrong. When she came downstairs she knew something was wrong when she couldn't really walk or feel her left side. She went to the hospital and they told her she had a 14 hour stroke. She had to have three brain surgeries because of all the swelling she had. I was so scared not knowing what was going to happen to her. She is ok now, getting better every day. She is paralyzed on her left side still but is slowing getting movement back. So this is my story to you all so that when you get the signs of a stroke are thing you do go to the hospital as soon as you can. If my Mom would have she would most likely be ok today.
