Dear Stroke Advocacy Network Member,

If you haven’t responded to the Stroke Advocacy Network’s World Stroke Day Action Alert yet, time is running out. Join National Stroke Association and participate in this international effort to honor people around the world living with—or working to prevent—stroke.

Tell your members of Congress to speak out about stroke this week to honor World Stroke Day on Saturday, October 29. Ask them to join National Stroke Association in this global effort to raise awareness about stroke, support stroke survivors and caregivers and maintain critical funding for stroke-related medical research. You only have a few days left to take action. Make your voice heard in Washington, D.C.

Go to the Action AlertSend messages to your members of Congress about World Stroke Day.

Once you’ve sent your messages, follow up with your members of Congress to ensure they take action on your request. The Stroke Advocacy Network can help you identify your members of Congress and find phone numbers for their offices (local or in Washington, D.C.). We’ve also provided a script to help you make these calls. Members of Congress hear from hundreds of constituents each day. Following up with a phone call will ensure that your request is not only heard but acted on as well.
