New iHOPE Webinars on Aphasia, Fatigue and Rehab at Home

We’ve added to our already large iHOPE webinar series. Watch and listen to new webinars on aphasia, post-stroke fatigue and rehabilitation at home. Topic experts discuss these issues, management strategies and tips for promoting post-stroke recovery.

Other webinar topics include atrial fibrillation, mobility, nutrition, prevention and spasticity. The webinars are free and can be watched anytime, anywhere at www.stroke.org/ihope.

Living After Stroke—New Webinar

Living After Stroke is a series of webinars to help you and your loved ones more easily work through the challenges of adjusting to life at work, in the home and community and identify and access needed services. 

Our most recent webinar, Social and Physical Support for Returning to Work, is now available. Other webinars available at www.stroke.org/living include Managing Life at Home and in the Community and Returning to Work Post-Stroke.

As a Charity Partner of the ING NYC Marathon, National Stroke Association is excited to support a team of runners who will trek 26.2 miles across the streets of NYC on November 6. This year’s team includes stroke survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers and family members of stroke survivors. 

We encourage you to read about the runners and watch their progress as they go through these next months of training and fundraising. Support them now.

Our Mobility After Stroke brochure has recently been updated with National Stroke Association’s new look. An excellent resource for discussion of treatment options, safety at home, fall prevention and movement aids, Mobility After Stroke is now available for order online or can be downloaded as a PDF
