Run 26.2 miles past our some of our national landmarks in D.C. this October, including the Capitol Building and National Mall.

Join the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon Stroke Challenge team and run 26.2 miles through New York City, finishing in historic Central Park.

The Studio at Carrollwood Cultural Center

The symptoms of stroke can be sudden. Preparing for one doesn't have to be. Before stroke attacks, protect yourself by learning the signs and symptoms, review your family history, and take a baseline risk assessment.  Join us for an informative lecture by our Florida Hospital Physician Group stroke specialists, including a FREE stroke risk assessment on June 3, 2015.

Friday, May 22, 2015 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

This event is open to the public and will include poster presentations and free handouts of stroke types, risk factors, preventative measures, and stroke rehabilitation.  The poster presentations will be in the main hallway, outside the cafeteria with a corresponding free community cookout. Staff from our Stroke Response Team will be on hand to answer questions.

Saturday, May 23, 2015 - 4:00pm
Baptist Hospital East, Room 2B in the Education Center

We will be discussing the warning signs, symptoms, and contributing factors of stroke. We will discuss lifestyle changes that we can make to lessen our chances of suffering a stroke. We will also discuss the special concerns of those with limb loss have pertaining to rehabilitation following a stroke.

A community presentation about how to best prevent stroke and the warning signs of stroke.
