Attention Caregivers!

Please come to our Comfort Givers Seminar and Spa. May 14, from 8 am - 12 pm. We begin with breakfast, then a little pampering with nail care, light massages and scents therapy.  This is followed with our seminar and informational packets. We will present information on caregiver needs relative to stroke care and cancer care. We will give you a lot of information on these subjects that will point you to where you can get help and more information to help in the care of your loved one. Warren Barr Gold Coast

The rehab team and Stroke Support Group at Warren Barr Gold Coast will be teaming up to host a health fair about stroke prevention and treatment. Warren Barr will host an interactive health fair from 11:30am to 1:30pm where we will assess your risk for stroke, talk about stroke prevention, and educate about the rehab process after having a stroke. There will be a complimentary educational stroke lunch and learn hosted by our physiatrist from 12:30-1 pm (RSVP required).

Elliott County EMS and Air Evac Lifeteam 118 are partnering together to provide blood pressure monitoring and stroke screenings as well as valuable information on stroke awareness, predisposing factors and lifestyle modifications. We will be handing out pamphlets and have tons of giveaways and goodies to take home!

The Run for Robert 5k Run/Walk honors the late Robert Kovalsky and benefits National Stroke Association. My Father, Robert, suffered from debilitating effects of a stroke. However, he always considered himself a stroke survivor rather than a victim.  Please join us to celebrate his life and raise money for National Stroke Association.
