I am ... A Survivor

Had massive hemorrhagic stroke while at work- July 2009, surgery done that night to remove over 150 ml of blodd from left temporal lobe. No previous symptoms and no particular risk factors.  Cause is still unknown but may relate to issues I had with vertebral artery occlusion caused by head rotation.  Surgery was done on this in November 2010.  I am now symptom free.  Only lasting effect of 2009 stroke is a complete right hemianopsia.  I am distance running again, working as a tax attorney and CPA and feel like I have been given a second chance at life.
