I had my stroke in Montana, the day after my nephews wedding at Glacier National Park. I received TPA within the 3 hour window, but it did not work. I spent a month in rehab, my goal being to recover for my own son's wedding on New Years Eve. Although I am still significantly disabled, I was able to return to work (I'm an RN for the county board of developmental disabilities)and walk down the aisle and dance with my son at his wedding.
