I am ... A Survivor

Damont Goolsby had a fruitful life. He graduated from Morehouse College, Damont held a great job, enjoyed a lively social status and seemed to be in perfect health. In the midst of it all, he had a stroke that changed his life forever. Coming face-to-face with the daunting task of learning to walk, talk and feed himself again, he rose above the obstacles to become gainfully employed by a non-profit corporation that actually helps special needs individuals back into society as well as started a cleaning business. Through his newfound faith in God, his family and loved ones, he no longer thinks he can, but knows he can, and he is. That is my story-
