Hi, I'm Brenda and I'm 54. I had a subarachnoid hemmorage (SAH) on June 10, 2015. I had no symptoms that day, and I was asleep when it happened. I had gone to bed before my husband and he said I was moaning and the dog was barking so he came in to investigate. He called 9-1-1 and I woke up in the hospital and on a ventillator. I spent almost two months in the hospital. My voice isn't the same and I have balance issues, and I see double, but I have no paralysis. I do not drive and I am on disability. The worst part is the emotional aspect of it. I cry very easily and have no control over it. I am, however, very lucky. And I have a wonderful support system!
