Aldines husband had a brainstem stroke while on vaction on July 05 2005. Earl turned 65 just five days later on July 10th 2005. He was working at the time as a church custodian. In September 2005 he was sent home to live with his wife in the same 2 story home they had shared since 1968.The only modification to the home was a downstairs bathroom. Aldine loved him and cared for him every day for the next 5 1/2 years. They survived a house fire, and earl falling on aldine and breaking her leg. They managed to continue many activities. Sadly, Earl died on Jan 1st 2011.
